Sunset: Hilton Head Style

We were so fortunate to have such a beautiful day at the beach that when we were blessed with a perfect sunset too, we knew we couldn't be any luckier! Laying on the beach for a day with the one I love was such a blessing.  Listening to the waves crash in, and the sun on my face was a great feeling.  We were once again amazed when the sunset set the sky into a colorful blessing. How amazing!

Hilton Head, South Carolina

Our next adventure was to head from Georgia to South Carolina.
A little island town with vacation as its top priority. With white sand beaches and 80* days in late October, it seemed like the perfect place for us. These are the pictures from
Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Day Two in Savannah

Our second day in Savannah we went to Forsyth Park first. It's a beautiful park in the historic downtown area. With the most famous fountain in all of Savannah. After Forsyth we headed down to Bonaventure Cemetery. It was a very mystical afternoon. I love the history and feel of Savannah. I am already ready to come back and see some more!

Savannah was a truly beautiful city. I would love to go there again & again.

Savannah the Beautiful

Tuesday morning we woke up early and headed to Savannah. The drive was about four hours but went by very quickly. We checked into our hotel then headed downtown to take a Trolley Tour. We saw lots of historic buildings, parks, moss covered trees and gorgeous architecture. We also toured the St. John the Baptist Cathedral. I instantly fell in love with Savannah. After our trolley tour we headed out to Tybee Island where we walked the beach and laid in the sun. We had dinner at the historic Pirates House and then walked through the City Market and listened to some live music. It was a great day in Savannah overall.

One of the many beautiful parks in Savannah.

Chattahoochee River Boys

We got to spend Monday with Lucian, so I thought it would be a great day to take both boys to the Chattahoochee River. Not only did Darren love it because it was a river, and fish watching is always his favorite, but Lucian loves the park, and playground that are right next to the river.  I loved seeing all the fall colors and just being out in nature for the day!

Piedmont Park in the Fall

Darren and I spent a gorgeous afternoon in Piedmont Park-- here are some of the great snapshots from the day. We also had dinner at the cutest restaurant called the Sunflower Cafe. They had the best vegetarian and vegan options! After dinner we headed to Atlantic Station to see the movie Argo! It was a great movie. It's so nice to be reunited with my Darren. On Sunday we also had the opportunity to go to Passion City Church. It was recommended to me by my friend Shelley. We had gone to a Chris Tomlin concert this summer at the Lynden State Fair. Chris Tomlin was at the service leading music. The sermon by Louie Giglio was also great. He spoke about anxiety and stress and how we should not worry too much because God is bigger!

 Beautiful Piedmont Park.
